Despite the spring break and the upcoming exams, the months of April and May were full of awareness campaigns and meetings !

The UMons (FWEG) once again warmly welcomed us during Professor Perrine Ferauge’s Corporate Social Responsibility course, which brought together around a hundred students who received a presentation from the company Elecosy.
The Haute-École Condorcet Charleroi once again demonstrated its great dynamism through the Cocoalab project, in early April, within the framework of which several conferences were organized as well as a visit to our member, the chocolaterie Belvas. This dynamism was moreover rewarded on April 4 when the title of "Fair Trade Schools & Universities" was conferred to the Higher School. The title was handed over in person to the provincial deputies Aurore Goossens and Éric Massin.
The coopérative Coquelicoop visited the Mons site of the Haute-École Condorcet to show the Marketing students, as part of the economics and sustainable development course, that alternative ways of running a business exist.
BFTF also had the pleasure of visiting the FUCAM Mons campus for the second time to share an activity with the student association Partenariats Sud. These bilateral exchanges were highly enriching with committed students from diverse backgrounds.
The Campus 2000 of HEPL was also very involved in the Nourrir Liège project, where BFTF was able to raise awareness through a stand and participate in the first "One Health" working group within the framework of Unigreen.
In addition, the AR Dinant students created and participated in quizzes on Fair Trade using the Kahoot and Wooclap applications. The results were surprisingly positive ; a fun way to raise awareness among young people !
Other events to highlight include the first conference given to future engineers on the Gloesener Campus in Liège.
Further events are planned for June, including the presentation of the Director of Brasserie Coopérative Liégeoise to IFAPME microbrewery students, and a fair trade breakfast at the Walloon Parliament on June 11.
