After the first 3 titles were awarded at the beginning of the year, two new establishments have received the FTSU honorary title : these are the Campus de la Louvière of the Haute-École Louvain en Hainaut (HELHa) and the Campus 2000 of the Haute École Provinciale de Liège (HEPL).
HELHa La Louvière was active very early on in the FTSU campaign, in particular thanks to Alexandre Balloine’s initiatives, Professor of Marketing Seminars and former student of the establishment. Lectures during the courses, broadcasts of reports on fair trade as well as visits to companies or other awareness stands have successfully fulfilled the FTSU criteria
The HEPL Campus 2000 located in Seraing was also very enthusiastic from the start of the project. Many students from various Bachelor’s degrees (Marketing, Accounting, International Business, International Cooperation or Logistics...) could be sensitized through testimonies of entrepreneurs linked tot the economic fabric of Liège such as Stany Herman of the Liège Cooperative Brewery (BCL) or Jean-Christophe Hubert of the Millésime Chocolat Chocolate Factory. Among the many actions, we can mention conferences, marketing analysis work on the BCL or a stand of the Belgian Fair Trade Federation during the job fair organized within the establishment.
A very big thank to everyone for the many actions whose success will further strengthen our collaborations during next academic year !
